The GSA's Satellite Services-II (SATCOM-II) program provides an expanded range of end-to-end satellite solutions for government agencies and serves as the primary replacement vehicle for the satellite services contracts.SATCOM-II allows agencies to place task orders directly with SATCOM-II contractors using direct order/direct bill. Agencies can also use GSA's eBuy to post request for quotes (RFQ's) and request for proposals (RFP's). The SATCOM-II contract has an estimated value of $750 million over the life of the five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts, and offers competitive pricing throughout the life of the contract as well as flexible ordering and billing.
